🎥 Chris Fowler Video + Announcer Crew

Fowler is set to provide commentary for the game alongside his real ESPN partner Kirk Herbstreit.

He made one point crystal clear, "EA is fully committed to a realistic experience".

Fowler said he has recorded audio for events that would never happen in a real game, such as a punt on second down, ensuring that even the most bizarre decisions will get an appropriate reaction from the booth. That does not even include other situational analysis, with Fowler saying he has been recording for the game over two years.

Fowler said that he has spent hours recording different variations of plays, calling touchdowns for all 134 FBS teams, from Alabama to Wyoming. For which he provided classic examples.

"Kirk and I have had joint sessions playing off of each other like you would in a real booth," Fowler said. "It's going to be incredible detail. What I've seen of the game will blow people away and really excited for you to see it."

🎙️Confirmed Personalities in EA College Football 25

Has ESPN held onto its exclusivity for CFB 25? For the moment, it appears so, but there is a strong push for Gus Johnson and the Fox Sports team to be a fixture in the game. Our previous newsletter did mention that the official EA Sports CFB Instagram account has followed FoxSports CFB. So we will keep an eye on this situation.

• Chris Fowler (Commentator)

• Kirk Herbstreit (GameDay + Commentator)

• Desmond Howard (GameDay)

• Rece Davis (GameDay)

• David Pollack (GameDay)

• Kevin Connors (Studio Host)

🗣️ Some Backlash Has Hit For The Lack of Women in CFB 25

We have certainly come to expect sideline reporters and female representation in the studio at ESPN and other networks. With the initial news breaking with all men, scrutiny has hit from the female voices in and beyond college football.

🔥 EA Sports Interview With ESPN 🔥

95% of what has been shared in the past 48-72 hours on social media can be sourced from this interview with ESPN.

Daryl Holt, EA Sports' senior vice president and group general manager of EA Tiburon, and Sean O'Brien, EA Sports vice president of business development, were directly quoted in the piece.

Here is a recap of what was divulged:

- Real coaches will NOT be in the game for CFB 25.

- Every bowl game is in

- Conference realignment is in

- No player face scans for CFB 25. Possibly CFB 26

- NIL & Transfer Portal are once again confirmed.

- All FBS teams are confirmed for CFB 25, FCS teams likely in CFB'26.

- You will not be able to create a player who does not opt into the game (legal reasons). You can create fictional players though.

- There will be mid-season roster updates

- Presentation elements will feature stadium and campus renderings, sounds, detailed seats, trophies, statues, and more.

- EA is trying to license around 85 players per team (over 11,000 total). It's on the players to opt in before the April deadline.

Players have been sent the following email to opt-in to the NIL agreement for the game that will pay them $600 and a free copy of CFB 25:

📣 Some direct quotes sourced from EA Sports:

"While the game will be on the same engine as Madden, it should look and feel different than its NFL counterpart."

"He said he played a complete game using two teams Tuesday morning -- he wouldn't say which ones -- and that "it's got a unique feel." At this point, there's a lot of "polishing" the development team is still working on to be ready for a summer release, which Holt said is on schedule."

🎮 Follow Hit Stick on Twitter: Free Copies of EA CFB 25

We will be giving away copies of EA CFB ‘25 and possibly more(!?).

🎮 Will Shedeur Sanders Be On The Cover of CFB 25?

Shedeur Sanders has since DELETED the cryptic tweet we have pictured below.

His tweet called out EA Sports, telling them that "they know what to do"

Was this tweet from Shedeur about the cover featuring either him, Coach Prime, or possibly both?

All speculation of course, but the fact that Shedeur deleted this tweet indicates something is going on.

Meanwhile, Travis Hunter casually posts a PAID PARTNERSHIP with EA Sports College Football image on Instagram.

This is noteworthy for two reasons:

  1. It highlights how some college athletes will receive much more than the $600 base pay via the NIL agreement.

  2. His dual position listing of CB and WR for CFB 25.

🏈 The Senior Bowl Appears To Be Included

This was another surprising piece of news that has added another level of excitement to the game.

The use of the arrow showing a transition from CFB to Madden was a welcome sight for many.

And of course, this once again speaks to the realism and in-depth preparation of EA Sports to make CFB 25 feel as real as possible.

We fully expect the news cycle to get crazy for EA CFB ‘25 as we move forward into the Spring.
